Huntington Beach, CA

Discover the Orange County city that defines Southern California. A place where the quintessential mild and mellow California beach culture that made the state famous still perseveres; where pretentiousness takes a back seat to casual and cool; where the true trendsetters of West Coast fashion, food and lifestyle reside. Huntington City Beach is a 3.5-mile stretch of pristine shoreline. Popularly known as "Surf City," Huntington Beach is home to the world famous municipal pier, and is a west coast surf mecca for more than 8 million annual visitors. Whether enjoying an evening at one of our fire pits or enjoying a day at a professional sporting event such as the U.S. Open of Surfing, "Surf City" offers a variety of exceptional, recreational, cultural, and entertainment opportunities.

Find trendy threads at the Bella Terra mall and 5 Points Plaza, or discover real-deal California beach gear like Quiksilver at authentic surf shops. Chow down on California beach-style grub or wine and dine at upscale eateries. Unwind and romance in luxury Huntington Beachhotels, let loose with downtown nightlife or relax in an abundance of parks and preserves.

The City of Huntington Beach operates 70 parks totaling 750 acres.  In addition, the 98-acre Meadowlark Golf Course is also located within Huntington Beach.  The City of Huntington Beach has rental facilities available to the public.  Rooms and large halls can be rented for various occasions.  Room rental facilities are located at the Municipal Art Center, City Gym & Pool, Murdy Community Center, Edison Community Center, Senior Center as well as three clubhouses, Harbor View Clubhouse, Lakeview Clubhouse, and Lake Park Clubhouse.  The city’s Newland Barn, located within Bartlett Park, also has a hall with historical gardens and gazebo available for rent.

The district’s high expectations for students and the staff are reflected in high API scores and student performance levels. Our schools are frequent recipients of many local, state, and federal awards and honors, including recognition as California Distinguished Schools and National Blue Ribbon Schools.

Real Estate Tips

Closing or Settlement >Closing Tips

The conclusion of a real estate transaction is an exciting time for everyone involved. The closing table is the ideal place to sign papers, trade keys, and drink a toast to the new homeowners. Sometimes that setting is filled with tension and pressure as each side tries to work out important details of the transaction at the last minute.

How can you help make your closing a relaxed and happy one? First, try to get the details worked out ahead of time. There may be a few unresolved issues, such as repairs that were not completed, a disappearing dining room chandelier or a pre- or post-closing occupancy agreement. The atmosphere should remain positive in order that minor upsets will not threaten the entire transaction. If you anticipate a problem, no matter how minor it may seem, be sure to communicate the situation to your real estate agent in advance, so that it can be addressed before it has a chance to escalate.
