This is the fourth year in a row that the Annual Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be put on by the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce. The parade commences at 11:00 a.m. and is always packed full with a diverse array of participants aggregated from South Bay businesses, individuals, schools, and civic organizations. Girl Scout troops, DeLoreans (cars first built in N. Ireland), bagpipers, school bands, city officials, and a dancing Bud Light group usually choreographed with dolly carts and empty beer cases continuously make the Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade an eclectically charming, community event.
 
79The Saint Patrick’s Day 5K commences Sunday, March 16th, starting at 8 a.m. in Rivera Village, Redondo Beach.  Prices to enter include an early entry fee of $30 by March 8, 2014, and $35 after March 8, 2014. For the Kid’s Dash, the entry fee is $25 by 3/8/14 and $30 after 3/8/14. All participants will receive a Saint Patrick’s Day Run T-shirt.
 

shamrock-n-roll_s165x110On Saturday, March 15, head to The Queen Mary for festive fun at the Shamrock ‘N’ Roll. This “St. Practice Day” celebration has everything you need for a rockin’ time. Honor the revelry and tradition of the Emerald Isle with Celtic rock and Irish party tunes, raise a mug full of green beer, challenge your friends in pub games, and dine on traditional Irish grub available for purchase like corned beef and cabbage sliders, bangers and mash, and much more. Tickets cost only 15 BUCKS! 7PM-1AM
