On Columbus Day, this Monday the kids are out, but the local Torrance Police Department will be training at the Torrance High School Campus. So be not afraid if you hear what sounds like shooting.
Advisory: Police / Fire training on 10-13-14 from 8-11AM at Torrance High School
The Torrance Police Department and the Torrance Fire Department, in conjunction with the Torrance Unified School District, will be conducting training on Monday October 13, 2014 from 8-11 AM at Torrance High School (2200 W. Carson Street). The campus will be closed on this day to students, the public, and anyone else not involved in the training.
A portion of this training will include simulated gunfire that may be heard in the surrounding area, and a large presence of Police and Fire Department personnel, vehicles, and equipment. All of the training will take place inside the Torrance High School Campus.
