The Power Plant Phase-Out Initiative which would disallow power generation on the AES property on Harbor Drive.
Bill Brand, Redondo Beach City Councilman, has spearheaded the WWW.NOPOWERPLANT.COM initiative which now qualifies for the ballot in March.
Many in Redondo Beach do not want AES to rebuild a power plant… just tear it down.
