Farmers Market at Kaiser

We all know of the Farmer market At Wilson Park in Torrance, the Farmer’s Market in Redondo. But did you know there is a 3rd local Farmers Market? And you will not beleive where.

The market is located at the Kaiser Permanent South Bay medical center, near the Parkview building. The hours are 10 am to 3 pm Wednesdays.

The stalls accept cash or you can get a gift card with a credit card at the manager’s stand.

Four South Bay Woman Honored for Their Years of Service

These women and two other Palos Verdes Peninsula residents, Jane Jones and Dorothy Lay, will be honored May 5th at the The Yellow Vase in Palos Verdes Estates.

REDONDO BEACH TO GET NEW WATERFRONT HOTEL

The 54 room hotel project in Redondo is finally under way. The project has been in the works since 2008. Cleanup of the present site is scheduled to start next month and completion is scheduled for October 1, 2014. This will be Redondo’s first major development project in 2 years and the city fathers are happy to see the project finally get off the sand, so to speak.
