Join the Cleanup at Torrance Beach
Celebrate Earth Day with a Community and Beach Clean-Up at Torrance Beach
Please join us Saturday, April 23 for a Clean-Up of Torrance Beach and other parts of Torrance. Let’s celebrate Earth Day together and help our South Bay community.
The City of Torrance will host three hybrid community cleanup sites:
- Torrance Beach/Miramar Park (201 Paseo de la Playa, Redondo Beach, CA 90277)
- Sur La Brea Park (23610 Cabrillo Avenue, Torrance, CA 90501)
- Downtown Torrance (Centennial Plaza in El Prado Park – El Prado Ave. from Carson St. to Cravens Ave.)
The beach activity will begin at Miramar Park and starts at 9:00 am. Please check the weather in advance, dress appropriately and bring gloves if you can! Volunteers from the Palos Verdes – South Bay Sierra Club, Heal the Bay and Grades of Green will be helping, as well.
