Unbroken is Given to West High School

Local businesses and Honda Corporation has given West Torrance High School Juniors the opportunity to watch the movie by Angelina Jolie, Unbroken. The story of local hero, the late Louis Zamperini.
On Tuesday, January 27, 2015, your student is invited to attend a showing of the movie Unbroken, based on the life of City of Torrance’s own Louis Zamperini. This field trip is being sponsored and fully funded by donations made by American Honda Corporation, local organizations, businesses and West High School...The students that are currently enrolled in U.S. History, will be given an assignment related to World War II and the movie. If your student is unable to attend or does not attend, an alternative assignment will be given in its place.
